Our Story

Reckless Fire was born in 2023 from the lifelong passion of Henry Rockson, a dedicated Bryan Adams fan who grew up not just listening to the music but living it.

The idea first sparked years earlier, when a friend in Ottawa — known locally for singing just like Bryan Adams — encouraged Henry to take on a tribute project. As a teenager, Henry immersed himself in Bryan Adams’ catalogue, learning every lyric and note and attending every concert he could. His devotion reached a high point at the opening of the Palladium Arena, when he was pulled on stage by none other than Keith Scott, joining Bryan Adams himself in an unforgettable moment of pure rock ‘n’ roll.

At the time, Henry was the drummer for a local amateur country band. In 2020, he left the group to follow a dream that had been burning for years: to form a Bryan Adams tribute band that would honour the music with the same energy and authenticity that first inspired him.

He recruited guitarist Daniel Fremmy, and rehearsals began in Henry’s home. As the project gained momentum, Daniel stepped away due to family commitments. In his place came Owen Wetzel, a seasoned professional guitarist who had mastered Keith Scott’s signature sound. The band’s lineup solidified further with the addition of renowned keyboardist Andrew Gladish, drummer Ray Picher, and the highly respected Kevin McCarragher on bass.

Together, Reckless Fire doesn’t just play the hits — they recreate the emotion, nostalgia, and live energy of Bryan Adams in his prime. Every show is a tribute to youth, love, and the songs that shaped a generation.
